The Cemetery In Winter
I often pass the Anglican Cemetery in my morning walks and have observed it in all kinds of lighting conditions an seasons. It is during winter under cloudy skies that I appreciate it most. The snow and overcast make the morning incredibly quiet, as befits the grave. I find this piece somber and respectful of the awesome finality of death, but at the same time in no way depressing or morbid. I find it peaceful. It is simply the Cemetery, in winter.
